The Infrastructure Engineer owns this stack day-to-day, ensures high availability, and partners closely with the IT Systems &amp; Security Engineer to ensure no single point of failure exists across IT Operations.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>This is<span> </span></span><span>a great opportunity</span><span><span> </span>for someone early in their infrastructure career who wants real ownership of a production environment from day one. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learn enterprise infrastructure hands-on, and grow into a role that is central to how<span> </span></span><span>DataXstream</span><span><span> </span>operates and evolves.</span></span><span> </span><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Main Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Day-to-day administration of VMware vSphere, vCenter, and the 200+ VM estate — provisioning, patching, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.</span></span></li>\n<li><span><span>Veeam Backup &amp; Replication management — job configuration, scheduling, monitoring, test restores, retention policy, and backup health reporting.</span></span></li>\n<li><span>Server infrastructure support alongside the Director of IT Operations — primarily Linux server administration, patching, and lifecycle management, with some Windows server coverage.</span></li>\n<li><span>SUSE Manager (SUMA) — Linux patch management, configuration management, and software distribution across the server estate.</span></li>\n<li><span>Storage management — monitoring and maintaining the underlying storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS) and ensuring adequate capacity.</span></li>\n<li><span>Contribution to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives — working toward declarative, auditable infrastructure management for on-premises and cloud resources.</span></li>\n<li><span>Participation in IT Operations on-call rotation for infrastructure incidents and emergencies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cross-Coverage Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span><span>DataXstream</span><span><span> </span>is committed to<span> </span></span><span>eliminating</span><span><span> </span>single points of failure across IT Operations.
