    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Purpose of Job<br>\n Stantec has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Pune Team on a permanent basis. &nbsp;This role will be involved in carrying out geotechnical investigations, GIS, or design on a wide range of civil engineering projects in locations across APAC region including the Philippines.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Uses knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks including 2D and 3D model development, completing design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD/BIM platforms noted below</li>\n <li>Works closely with Geotechnical Engineers and Geologist on assigned projects</li>\n <li>Supports Project Managers in preparing submittals for clients, governmental agencies, permitting agencies, etc. for reviews, approvals, and other milestones</li>\n <li>Performs thorough quality control (QA/QC) of models and sheet files for standards compliance, discipline coordination and ensure comments have been addressed by the responsible CAD Technician and others as required</li>\n <li>Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned</li>\n <li>Use of Muck 3D would be considered an asset.</li>\n <li>As a senior CAD designer, grow and help juniors in their development.</li>\n</ul>",
