Discover an extraordinary career opportunity that combines competitive pay with outstanding benefits.</align-center><p><br></p><align-center><em><strong>Apply now so we can make a lasting impact together!</strong></em>&nbsp;</align-center><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>Work Hours: Saturdays &amp; Sundays 2pm-11pm</strong></h3><p><br></p><p><strong>General Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li>Operate as a member of the Community Services Division team.</li><li>Coordinate services and meals for participants, including intake and crisis intervention.</li><li>Maintain safety and security through bag checks and operation of metal detector,locker searches, and monitoring.</li><li>Respond to emergencies with immediacy using established guidelines.</li><li>Provide screening, assessment, crisis intervention, referral, and linkage.</li><li>Communicate policies and regulations to participants and ensure compliance.</li><li>Register participants and volunteers; maintain statistical records and documents.</li><li>Assist volunteers with meals, hospitality, and program assistance.</li><li>Enter accurate documentation into the HMIS system and support client progress.</li><li>Provide outreach and daily support as needed to Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) residents.</li><li>Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.</li></ol><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ol><li>Maintain safety and security of staff, participants, and volunteers by frisking, random locker searches, and monitoring safety.</li><li>Is aware of emergency procedures with regard (a) to building safety (b) client emergencies and (c) 24-hour coverage in order to respond to emergencies with immediacy while utilizing guidelines.</li><li>Provide screening, assessment, crisis intervention, referral and linkage such as hospital, police, crisis line, etc.</li><li>Communicate Daybreak Center policies and regulations to participants through direct communication and consistent compliance with established procedures, including appropriate consequences.</li><li>Register participants and volunteers. Maintain statistical records, documents, and paperwork as required.</li><li>Assist volunteers; provide meals, hospitality, and program assistance.</li><li>Provide assistance for residential clients and relocation assistance to clients, as needed.</li><li>Answer incoming calls and record them into Call Point (Service Point- HMIS system) and providing a referral when necessary.</li><li>Schedule laundry, assist clients make phone calls, assign and check chores, passes, etc.</li><li>Complete daily filing of discharged residential files for Out of County, PADS clients and other residential clients as needed.</li><li>Assist Case Managers with other duties and discharges of residential clients as needed and directed.</li><li>Each employee of Daybreak Center shall be held responsible for the items outlined in the Agency policies as well as the Daybreak Center policies and procedures.</li></ol>",
