The successful incumbent must be available to be on-call for nights. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Registration in good standing required  </li>\n <li>RPN Diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Successful completion of the Perioperative nursing certificate required OR current enrollment,requiring successful completion</li>\n <li>Current BCLS certification required</li>\n <li>Recent experience in the Operating Room required </li>\n <li>Laser certification required </li>\n <li>Knowledge of keyboarding and Meditech system modules an asset </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)</li>\n <li>Commitment to customer service and teamwork</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation.
