We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</strong></p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<p>Carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Washing, inspecting, packaging, and sterilizing instruments/equipment</li>\n <li>Maintaining accurate monitoring records</li>\n <li>Using and interpreting chemical and biological indicators</li>\n <li>Performs appropriate cleaning of all sterilization equipment</li>\n <li>Assisting OR personnel in locating/reprocessing instruments</li>\n <li>Participating in performance improvement activities.</li>\n <li>Follows established policies & procedures.</li>\n <li>Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous operating room technician or central supply technician experience (including appropriate certification) preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous surgical instrumentation/equipment decontamination and sterilization with familiarity of various instrument sterilization methods required.</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent customer service skills, initiative and ability to take independent action, and be capable of establishing and maintaining outstanding working relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<p>High school diploma or GED required</p>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CSP Certification (CRCST or CBSPD Certification).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must maintain certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $21.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $33.00",
