If you have a strong desire to grow professionally and learn the access side of the service provider infrastructure then this is the spot for you!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">As a Sales Engineer with PenTeleData, you will be the technical implementation resource for our customers who have purchased Broadband Service to be installed or upgraded. You will interact daily with commercial customers, our partners, vendors and other departments.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">2-4 years related experience working in enterprise or service provider environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Completed CCNA or similar courses - current certifications preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Established residency in Pennsylvania</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The technical, or “hard skills” we need run the gamut:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Basic networking knowledge including understanding of the TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, IPv6 and OSI model</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Understanding basics of static and dynamic IP routing </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Some understanding of how an HFC network operates from the data side</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with DHCP and DORA process</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to remain technical while using layman terms with non-technical customers</span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The non-technical, or “soft skills” needed include:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Hi-level Project Management Skills </span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Overseeing customer turn-ups and changes</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Handling multiple projects at once</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Facilitating efficient communication between multiple stakeholders</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Exceptional Customer Service Skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Outstanding Troubleshooting Skills – thinking logically through problems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to document findings accurately and explain them with working knowledge</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to present facts and ideas verbally and written in a logical, sequential and understandble manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow procedures and processes but still remain flexible for exceptional cases when they occur</span></li>\n<li>Ability to be self-motivated and operate autonomously with little supervision<br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills – these are “nice to have” but definitely not required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Understanding NAT and how to configure it -includes Static and Dynamic NAT</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Basic understanding of ACLs, ASA firewalls </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Cisco, Zyxel and/or Ubiquiti device configurations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Previous experience utilizing Salesforce or other comparable CRM in daily operations</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">INDHP</span></p>",
