The Retail Store Manager will oversee the store’s operations, sales, and visual standards to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of retail programs and overall store success.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting!</strong></p><p>Laugh out loud, dance to the music, and provide a humorous escape to our customers while you,</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Lead Store’s Daily Tasks:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Oversees the daily sales and back of house operation and ensures sales objectives are met.</li><li>Evaluates daily operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.</li><li>Holds self and staff accountable to our Core Values and coaches to the behaviors associated with them.</li><li>Makes staffing decisions including employment, training, task assignment, promotion, discipline and termination for assigned functions.</li><li>Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching, training and engagement of Sales Associates.</li><li>Follow our customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT, by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking the customer.</li><li>Must be proficient in product knowledge.</li><li>Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Recruit Great Talent:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Responsible for proactively networking/recruiting qualified candidates to ensure proper backfill for all positions. Identify internal/external candidates with a proven ability to develop and maintain sincere, authentic relationships.</li><li>Interview and select candidates based on IT’SUGAR’S core values.</li><li>Onboard, train and coach Associates/Supervisors and ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Achieve Sales Goals:</strong></u></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.</li><li>&nbsp;Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.</li><li>&nbsp;Establish a Collaborative Selling Culture in the Store, ensuring Associates/Supervisors are trained in all IT’SUGAR selling training programs.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Manage Store Operations</strong></u></p><ul><li>Oversees all operational standards, including the timely execution of pricing, signage, replenishment, plan-o-grams, shipping, receiving and maintenance of inventory accuracy and product flow.</li><li>Oversee the execution of store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.</li><li>Maintains allocated budget within the store.</li><li>Ensures the store follows all visual guidelines and supports the brand image.</li><li>Oversees the planning and set-up for special events and promotions.</li><li>Maintain communication with Supervisors regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.</li><li>Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicates LP issues with the store leadership team and escalates to HQ as needed.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Embody our Core Values:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Represent our core values: IT’S being Positive, Playful, Present and a Difference Maker.</li><li>Display enthusiasm and optimism while fostering a team environment within the store.</li></ul>",
