    "description": "<p>Currently there is an opening for a <strong>Maintenance Mechanic I</strong> in our <strong>Machined Core</strong>&nbsp;division on <strong>1st&nbsp;shift (6:30AM to 2:30PM Monday - Friday).</strong> This position will ensure all plant equipment and machinery is maintained in working order. Build and rebuild equipment to meet manufacturing needs. Perform general building and site maintenance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Help to maintain equipment in the Business Unit.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep all equipment in safe operating condition.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining a preventive maintenance schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Installing and assembling new machines and equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Fabricate fixtures, guards or parts to maintain or improve the equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform minor electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding or machine work to maintain the equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Make out purchase requisitions for repair parts and replacement stock items.</li>\r\n\t<li>Help to keep stock items in inventory.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain all records of repairs made to equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Following industry best practices, SOP&rsquo;s, LOTO procedures, and other safety guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Diagnose and repair machine or equipment failures.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Using power tools and different hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Work more or less independently or with a more skilled mechanic.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods.</li>\r\n\t<li>Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High school diploma or GED</li>\r\n\t<li>At least 1&nbsp;year&nbsp;of progressively more responsible maintenance experience</li>\r\n\t<li>Electrical maintenance experience preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong attention to detail</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work overtime</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong>:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
