Our organization helps propel us forward and achieve true mission partnership.</p><br><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong><br>&nbsp;<ul><li>Procure materials, equipment, supplies, and services for complex aircraft electronics based on program-specific requirements and specifications.</li><li>Develop subcontracts in accordance with specifications, requirements, work statements, and terms and conditions.</li><li>Serve as the focal point for bid reviews, evaluating technical and cost proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and selecting subcontractors based on best overall value.</li><li>Consult with company staff to ensure subcontract awards align with legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely receipt of subcontractor-submitted documents, including invoices and resolving invoice issues.</li><li>Negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and support invoicing resolution</li><li>Manage supplier performance, including cost, quality, technical, and delivery aspects, while building effective relationships with suppliers and internal/external customers.</li><li>Identify supplier risk and opportunities to achieve program objectives; develop risk assessments, manage supplier risk through targeted negotiation strategies/plans in conjunction with the associated team/technical leads; lead contract negotiations.</li><li>Develop subcontract management plans in conjunction with Category Management teams; determine contractual methodologies for supplier performance that align to the negotiated contractual baseline, such as delivery incentives, fee plans, and required supplier status meetings, programmatic reviews, etc.</li><li>Follow established procurement policies and procedures to ensure best value for the program.</li><li>Communicate subcontract performance internally and externally, prepare and present subcontractor briefings, and adopt best practices to support key business initiatives.</li><li>Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.</li><li>Perform other duties as necessary.</li></ul>&nbsp;<p><strong>On-Site Work Environment: </strong>This position requires regular in-person engagement by working<strong> on-site three or more days </strong>each normally scheduled week in the primary work location.
