You’ll sit at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology—partnering with stakeholders to turn curiosity, questions, and challenges into clearly defined initiatives that fuel insight, automation, and smarter decision-making.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering. You’ll be the front door to the Data & AI pipeline, helping define what we work on, why it matters, and how we deliver value—fast, iteratively, and with intention.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Be the Catalyst for Data & AI Work</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll lead discovery conversations that uncover the real business problems behind requests—clarifying goals, defining outcomes, and ensuring ideas are fully formed before they enter delivery. Nothing vague. Nothing half-baked.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Turn Big Ideas into Clear Direction</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll translate high-level asks into well-structured user stories, functional and technical requirements, and acceptance criteria—giving delivery teams exactly what they need to build with confidence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Bridge Strategy and Execution</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll act as a connective thread between business leaders, product owners, data engineers, and BI developers—ensuring shared understanding of scope, priorities, and progress at every stage.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Own the Flow from Intake to Impact</strong></p>\n<p>From initial request through sprint delivery, you’ll help guide work forward—tracking progress, removing ambiguity, and keeping stakeholders informed and engaged along the way.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Elevate How Work Gets Done</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll bring structure and consistency to how initiatives are captured, prioritized, and managed—using tools like Microsoft Loop, Jira, and SharePoint to ensure transparency and follow-through.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Champion Agile, Iterative Value</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll help teams and stakeholders think in terms of MVPs, experimentation, and continuous improvement—ensuring value is delivered early and refined often.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field</p>\n<p>· Minimum of 3 years in a business analyst, technical analyst, or project management role</p>\n<p>· Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing the lifecycle of business or data projects</p>\n<p>· Exposure to reporting and analytics environments; experience working with data teams or BI developers preferred</p>\n<p>· Certifications in Business Analysis or PM (e.g., PMP, CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (e.g., Scrum Master) are a plus</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Familiarity with Power BI—capable of understanding report structures, data flows, and data model concepts</p>\n<p>· Experience with work tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools</p>\n<p>· Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and basic data concepts such as KPIs, data sources, and data validation</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Leadership and Communication</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements</p>\n<p>· Comfortable leading meetings, facilitating discussions, and presenting information to diverse stakeholders</p>\n<p>· Demonstrated ability to foster trust, manage expectations, and build consensus</p>\n<p>· Experience influencing stakeholders and promoting process consistency across teams</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to connect small details to big-picture goals</p>\n<p>· Adept at identifying ambiguities or gaps in requests and asking the right follow-up questions</p>\n<p>· Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex business problems into clearly defined requirements</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER | DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE</strong></p>\n<p>Shermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
