Learn more at www.okfoods.com . Fork lift operators with 6 months prior fork lift experience. Assists in movement of product within the distribution process by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Unloading/loading of inbound, outbound and transfer trailers. Moving of product from one area to another. Have the ability to work in temps ranging from zero to minus twenty degrees Fahrenheit. Keep dock floors and equipment clear of debris including but not limited to stretch wrap, wood, dust, snow, ice and exposed product. Up-stacking or down-stacking of product for storage, loading and inventories. Pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for OK Foods. Maintain an absentee rate of 5% or less. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies : Interpersonal Skills - Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control. Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification. Diversity - Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences. Ethics - Treats people with respect; Works with integrity and ethically. Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures. Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly. Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions ; Uses equipment and materials properly. Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Qualifications  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.  Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Physical Demands  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Work Environment  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
