Martin/Martin is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Intern to support of projects in our Denver office. The hired individual will support the Structural Engineering Group and have opportunities to work on a variety of structures throughout the Denver area. We strive to develop our staff both technically and professionally through our mentoring programs. Additionally, each project presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a technician. The successful candidate will develop expertise in a broad range of BIM skills, demonstrate a willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and produce high-quality designs for our clients. Martin/Martin, Inc. is a civil, structural, and investigative consulting engineering firm, headquartered in the Denver area, built on experience and industry leadership cultivated since the 1940s. Our engineered solutions are developed through a culture of integrity, service, creativity, and quality for the benefit of our clients and the community. The Team Our structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine , and Harborcenter . Responsibilities The following duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive. Assisting with creating plans, sections, elevations, 3D views, details, and schedules from the model Assisting in project set-up, including importing reference details, editing general notes, creating new file(s) and managing and linking external files Maintaining internal and external modeling and drafting standards on projects Communicates in a professional manner
