We’re seeking a skilled \n<strong>Fire Suppression Technician (Special Hazards)</strong> to join our\n<strong> West Springfield, MA</strong> team. If you have a passion for precision, teamwork, and safety—and you’re ready to make a real impact in the fire protection industry—we want to hear from you!  \n<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, inspect, test, and maintain special hazard fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Clean agent systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230)</li>\n   <li>CO₂ systems</li>\n   <li>Foam suppression systems</li>\n   <li>Water mist systems</li>\n   <li>Explosion suppression or detection systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Verify proper system operation through functional and acceptance testing</li>\n <li>Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues or deficiencies</li>\n <li>Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 2001, 12, 750), local regulations, and company standards</li>\n <li>Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site to support successful project execution.</li>\n <li>Document inspections, maintenance, and service activities in accordance with company and client requirements.</li>\n <li>Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to work alone and in team setting.</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>What You'll Need to Do it:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Past experience in Fire Suppression required</li>\n <li>Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50 lbs</li>\n <li>MA CC-47 Engineer Systems certification required</li>\n <li>MA CC-48 Pre-Engineered Fixed Systems certification preferred</li>\n <li>MA CC-46 Portable Fire Extinguishers certification preferred</li>\n <li>MA CC-41 Self-Serve Facilities certification preferred</li>\n <li>Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the state of Rhode Island</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role.
