Description
Mayvin is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support a complex Army radar program office at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role provides programmatic, acquisition, and financial support across the full lifecycle of the Army’s ground-based radar systems—including the AN/TPQ 50, AN/TPQ 53, and their associated Foreign Military Sales variants.
This position is contingent upon award.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities :
Support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for DoD radar systems by performing requirements analysis, software design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
Develop and enhance software for radar control systems and signal applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compatibility with mission requirements.
Apply Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to plan, develop, integrate, and deliver software capabilities within continuous development and continuous integration (CI/CD) environments.
Implement Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles in software architecture and design to improve modularity, interoperability, and long term sustainment.
Establish and track software development objectives, engineering standards, and technical guidelines to ensure quality and compliance across the software baseline.
Conduct peer reviews, perform code maintenance, and support software verification, validation, accreditation, and automated testing to ensure high quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience developing or sustaining software for Army radar systems such as AN/TPQ 50, AN/TPQ 53, or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) radar variants
Strong background in radar signal processing, sensor data fusion, target tracking algorithms, or real time embedded systems
