    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Landscape Architect / Project Manager</strong> with at least <strong>7-10 years </strong>of experience in the development of public projects to join our <strong>Landscape Architecture</strong> team in the <strong>Fort Lauderdale, FL office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this position you will work collaboratively with our Landscape Studio Manager and Senior Designers and oversee the development of landscape deliverables on a wide variety of public projects.  Projects will range from public plazas and parks, playgrounds, municipal facilities, streetscapes and transportation projects. If you think you are an innovative, self-motivated team-player, and want to shape your community, join our WGI team today!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WGI offers a complete Benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & STD, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays, HSA with company contribution, Pet insurance, and Employee assistance program.</strong></p>\n<p>#LI-onsite</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Development of landscape plan packages; including landscape, hardscape, and irrigation plans from concept through construction</li>\n <li>Provide quality control review of landscape deliverables prior to sign/sealing the deliverables</li>\n <li>Development of project construction cost estimates</li>\n <li>Coordination with clients and sub-consultants and act as liaison to government agencies</li>\n <li>Internal coordination with planning and engineering teams</li>\n <li>Attend public meetings and community outreach meetings</li>\n <li>Work with Studio Manager to maintain project schedules and budgets</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university</li>\n <li>7-10 years related experience with current licensure or in the process of becoming licensed in the State of Florida</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microstation a plus</li>\n <li>Must understand the relationship between design and constructability</li>\n <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Exceptional organizational skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD,  Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus</li>\n <li>LIAF or ISA certifications a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a team, or independently</li>\n <li>Night and weekend work may be required</li>\n <li>Travel to other office locations may be required</li>\n <li><em>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
