Quality Assurance &amp; Process Control</p><ul><li>Ensure end-to-end quality control for Tap Hole Clay products across all stages of manufacturing.</li><li>Monitor raw material quality, validate supplier inputs, and ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>Oversee critical processing parameters and maintain operational consistency.</li><li>Conduct routine and special quality checks to ensure product reliability and performance.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>2. Testing &amp; Standard Compliance</p><ul><li>Implement and adhere to testing protocols based on industry standards and internal guidelines.</li><li>Analyze results from laboratory tests and production trials to identify deviations.</li><li>Prepare and maintain testing documentation, certificates, and compliance reports.</li></ul><p>3. Defect Analysis &amp; Corrective Action</p><ul><li>Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and internal non-conformances.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Work closely with Production and R&amp;D to improve product consistency and reduce defects.</li></ul><p>4. Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><ul><li>Coordinate with Production for process optimization and operational improvements.</li><li>Align with R&amp;D for new product trials, performance evaluations, and reformulations.</li><li>Liaise with Procurement for supplier quality assessment and raw material improvements.</li><li>Support the Sales team with technical queries, customer feedback, and product performance insights.</li></ul><p>5. Continuous Improvement</p><ul><li>Drive QPC-related improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce cost, and optimize processes.</li><li>Contribute to standardization activities, documentation updates, and quality audits.</li><li>Promote best practices and ensure compliance with all safety and QPC requirements.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li data-section-id=\"7b5vy4\" data-start=\"3131\" data-end=\"3244\">Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.</li><li data-section-id=\"1bea5f3\" data-start=\"3245\" data-end=\"3389\">7–12 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within refractory manufacturing (preferably Tap Hole Clay or allied products).</li><li data-section-id=\"puv8yw\" data-start=\"3390\" data-end=\"3483\">Strong understanding of raw materials, formulation, and refractory processing techniques.</li><li data-section-id=\"l06hwd\" data-start=\"3484\" data-end=\"3570\">Experience in testing standards, quality systems, and manufacturing process control.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>",
