Drive dedicated with East Penn and enjoy a consistent schedule and pay, onsite management and regular deliveries to dedicated customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Aside from the perks of a consistent schedule and pay, company dedicated truck drivers also enjoy access to comprehensive health benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision, and prescription, as well as a 401k savings plan and paid time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Average Potential Starting Salary: $90,000 per year.</strong></p>\n<p><em>Salary ranges are determined by mileage, stops, and junks.</em></p>\n<p><strong>Plus a $2,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus! </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Driver’s primary responsibility will include various warehouse material handling duties and some delivery and pick-ups at off-site locations.</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Schedule varies depending on run, trips may range from 1 to 3 days in length.</li>\n <li>Delivers and picks up freight from specified locations, such as warehouses, stores, industrial plants, railroad yards, and small businesses.</li>\n <li>Verifies freight with shipping papers.</li>\n <li>Drives to specified locations, applying knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state and local driving laws, and hazardous material regulations.</li>\n <li>Uses skills in highway navigation as well as maneuvering a vehicle in various situations, such as narrow passageways, heavy traffic, and adverse weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Inspects the vehicle for mechanical and safety defects before and after each trip, and submits a report indicating the vehicle condition.</li>\n <li>Maintains a Driver's Daily log according to Federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Prepares shipping papers for freight received.</li>\n <li>Interacts with customers when delivering or receiving freight or collecting payment for goods delivered.</li>\n <li>Warehouse work using material handling equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat (endorsements not required prior to employment but obtainment required during probationary period) Training provided.</li>\n <li>Literate with good communication and math skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>East Penn Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>East Penn offers excellent benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation</li>\n <li>Group insurance that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage</li>\n <li>401K savings plan</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>Annual bonus</li>\n <li>9 paid holidays and 10 days of paid time off</li>\n <li>Employee assistance programs</li>\n <li>Fitness Discounts</li>\n <li>Promotional opportunities</li>\n</ul>",
