Success in this role means being dependable, emotionally attuned, coachable, and committed to implementing treatment plans with consistency while creating a positive and supportive experience for clients and families.</p>\n<p>This position plays an important role in both client outcomes and the overall reputation of the company, as you are often one of the most consistent touchpoints in a client’s care journey.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To Be Successful in This Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognize the level of trust families place in you and approach your work with professionalism, empathy, and consistency.</li>\n<li>Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services according to individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA or qualified clinical supervisor.</li>\n<li>Accurately collect and document session data in accordance with treatment plans, company standards, and Medicaid / payer documentation requirements.</li>\n<li>Complete session documentation within required timelines to support accurate billing, continuity of care, and compliance expectations.</li>\n<li>Participate in required supervision in accordance with BACB standards and payer requirements.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively and professionally with supervising clinicians, families, and internal team members to ensure continuity of care.</li>\n<li>Maintain a high standard of ethical and professional conduct in alignment with BACB RBT Ethics Code requirements and Touchstone values.</li>\n<li>Be dependable with scheduling, punctuality, attendance, and communication, recognizing the impact inconsistent service can have on client progress and family trust.</li>\n<li>Respond appropriately to client behaviors using approved intervention strategies and within the scope of your training and role.</li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, agency policy, and applicable state and federal regulations.</li>\n<li>Be open to coaching, feedback, and ongoing skill development to improve clinical effectiveness and client outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Meet Your Future Team</span></p>\n<p>This role works in close partnership with:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)</span></li>\n<li><span>Clinical leadership</span></li>\n<li><span>Client families and caregivers</span></li>\n<li><span>Administrative support team</span></li>\n<li><span>Other interdisciplinary providers as appropriate</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As an RBT, you are a key part of the clinical team and directly contribute to treatment consistency, family trust, and client progress.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">If You Were the Registered Behavior Technician Now, Here Are Some of the Core Activities You Would Be Doing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to assigned clients in home, clinic, school, or community settings as determined by treatment needs.</li>\n<li>Implement behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, and other treatment protocols as directed by the supervising clinician.</li>\n<li>Collect accurate session data and complete required session notes within established timelines.</li>\n<li>Participate in supervision sessions, team meetings, and clinical trainings as scheduled.</li>\n<li>Communicate observations, concerns, barriers, and client progress promptly and professionally with supervising clinicians.</li>\n<li>Support caregiver collaboration by modeling strategies, reinforcing treatment consistency, and communicating appropriately within role scope.</li>\n<li>Maintain active RBT credentialing and complete all ongoing competency and certification requirements.</li>\n<li>Follow agency safety protocols, crisis procedures, incident reporting expectations, and documentation standards.</li>\n<li>Protect client dignity while maintaining therapeutic boundaries and professionalism.</li>\n<li>Maintain a positive, engaged, and solutions-oriented mindset while supporting client progress.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, human development, or related field preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to pass Utah background screening / clearance requirements and any applicable payer credentialing requirements.</li>\n<li>Current CPR / First Aid certification if required by company policy.</li>\n<li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations if applicable.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to physically engage in play-based and behavior-support activities including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and active client participation as clinically appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Utah Compliance Considerations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timely documentation completion consistent with Medicaid and payer billing requirements.</li>\n<li>Participation in required supervision ratios, competency monitoring, and clinical oversight expectations.</li>\n<li>Compliance with Utah background screening, onboarding requirements, and agency credentialing expectations.</li>\n<li>Maintenance of active certification and payer eligibility requirements as applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Here Are Some of the Things You Could Be Working On in the Future</span></p>\n<p>As Touchstone continues to grow, there may be opportunities to expand your role and impact through:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentoring and supporting newly hired RBT team members.</li>\n<li>Assisting with onboarding and peer training initiatives.</li>\n<li>Developing specialized clinical skill sets for specific populations or treatment approaches.</li>\n<li>Advancing toward BCaBA, BCBA, or other clinical development pathways.</li>\n<li>Participating in quality improvement initiatives, program development, or leadership opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
