Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.</p><p>Intuitive Machines is seeking an in Intern to join our team in Greenbelt, MD.</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Currently enrolled as a rising senior (entering final year) in a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Software, or related discipline)</li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for NASA contractor site access)</li><li>Must be available to work on-site in Greenbelt, Maryland for the duration of the internship</li></ul><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Technical Skills</span></h2><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Foundational knowledge in core engineering principles relevant to discipline of study</li><li>Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, CAD, Python, or discipline-specific applications)</li><li>Familiarity with engineering documentation, design processes, and technical reporting</li><li>Experience with lab work, research projects, or academic team projects a plus</li><li>Knowledge of aerospace, robotics, or space systems a plus</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Soft Skills</p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>Excellent communication skills &ndash; written and verbal</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision</li></ul><h1 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</span></h1><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Support development and optimization of AI infrastructure for robot software systems</li><li>Assist in designing, testing, and deploying machine learning models for autonomous robotics applications</li><li>Collaborate with engineers on software integration and system validation</li><li>Document processes, code, and findings for team knowledge sharing</li><li>Participate in sprint planning, team stand-ups, and design reviews</li><li>Contribute to research and evaluation of emerging AI tools and frameworks relevant to robotics</li></ul><p><strong>EEOC</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
