Join us and help drive the future of clean energy!<span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role requires regular travel and dispatch assignments throughout Delaware to support operational and project demands.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.                     </li>\n<li>Review and ensure correct PPE is available and being used properly.</li>\n<li>Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval.   </li>\n<li>Work leader for Pre Job-Brief, Job Safety Analysis, Personal LOTO, and switch plan LOTO</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inspections &amp; Preventative Maintenance:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.</li>\n<li>Supervise and train junior technicians on inspection and maintenance procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Troubleshooting:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, including grid integration and communication problems.</li>\n<li>Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and address system performance issues.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement corrective action plans.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.</li>\n<li>Prepare technical reports and presentations for management.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Learning &amp; Knowledge:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of training materials and procedures.</li>\n<li>Skilled in Work Order documentation and providing oversight and direction in documentation to junior technicians.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Able to travel on short notice and be available during non-traditional working hours.</li>\n<li>Up to 50% travel may be expected at times.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.</li>\n<li>2-4 years of experience in the solar industry or related field.</li>\n<li>OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certification.</li>\n<li>FAA Part 107 Certification.</li>\n<li>Master Electrician License Required </li>\n<li>Proficient operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes.</li>\n<li>Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.</li>\n<li>Proficient the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to lead junior technicians in the field.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to drive a vehicle confidently and with a high degree of safety.</li>\n<li>Be able to stand for long periods of time and walk distances up to three miles a day.</li>\n<li>Be able to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps while maintaining 3 points of contact.</li>\n<li>Have the visual acuity for depth perception, no field of vision issues, and to distinguish between colors.</li>\n<li>Be comfortable working in a variety of climate conditions which may include but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32°F) for periods of more than one hour.</li>\n<li>Be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>This role involves work on electrical systems associated with solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment. In accordance with Delaware state law, candidates performing electrical work must hold a valid electrician license issued by the Delaware Board of Electrical Examiners.</em></p>\n<p><br><em>Candidates may perform electrical work only within the scope of their license classification or under the appropriate supervision as required by state regulations. This range is a good faith estimate based on the position's requirements.
