    "description": "<p>Eikenhout Inc is a wholesale distributor of exterior building products. Our 180+ team members partner with Michigan contractors to get them everything they need at ten locations throughout Michigan.  We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of human resource functions with an emphasis on building strong teams and supporting our team members.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as HR Partner, offering guidance &amp; support</li>\n<li>Lead full-cycle recruiting and support workforce planning needs</li>\n<li>Coach leaders and employees on performance and development</li>\n<li>Support employee engagement, onboarding and retention initiatives</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential HR data and documentation</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the team on process improvements, HR technology and programs</li>\n<li>Leverage HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions</li>\n<li>Policy Development &amp; Compliance</li>\n<li>Compensation &amp; Benefit Administration &amp; Support</li>\n<li>Perform other HR related duties and special projects as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree</li>\n<li>Minimum of 3-5 years relevant human resources experience</li>\n<li>SHRM-CP Preferred</li>\n<li>Valid driver license &amp; excellent driving record</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations and best business practices</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office</li>\n<li>Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (We use Bamboo), Tech adaptable</li>\n<li>In person work, Monday – Friday</li>\n<li>Travel to branch locations and occasional overnight stays</li>\n<li>Exceptional communication, relationship building and coaching skills</li>\n<li>Strong judgment, discretion and professionalism in sensitive matters</li>\n<li>Highly organized with ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment</li>\n<li>Willingness to work flexible hours</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer you great benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) with 4% match</li>\n<li>Health, Dental, Vision, Pet, Life &amp; Disability Insurance</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n<li>Employee Discount</li>\n<li>Referral Program</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Amazing Team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>indeed1</p>",
