Provides initial and ongoing orientation and training to Nursing Services staff. Assists with hospital competency assessment and performance improvement activities.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Five years clinical experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. ACLS and PALS Instructor certification preferred. BLS Instructor certification required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge of adult theory and strategies. Well-developed oral, written, organizatonal and interpersonal skills.
