The Infusion Nurse comprehensively assesses patients in suite and over the phone, develops nursing care plans, coordinates tests and/or therapeutic procedures, implements ordered treatment(s), and counsels and educates patients to promote health. Also, the Infusion Nurse manages medication refills, medication administration and reconciliation,  as well as vaccine administration and scheduling. And, the Infusion Nurse directs, supports, and guides unlicensed support staff and evaluates the effectiveness of the care plan in relation to health goals. Lastly, the Infusion Nurse is responsible for managing inventory, compounding, and administering chemotherapy and biologicals with appropriate screening, monitoring, and follow up.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif\">Qualifications</span></strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Graduate of an approved school of Professional Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Unrestricted LVN or RN license/compact license to practice in the State of Texas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">BLS certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Two of more years previous experience in ambulatory care, hospital, or public health.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">ONS, Infusion certification a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">MCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
