          "text": "<p>CEDA is currently seeking 2 Heavy Duty Technician, Journeyman to join the Dredging and Fluid Management team in Fort McMurray, AB. &#xa0;This is a full time site-based opportunity with accommodation and flights provided.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>14x14</strong>&#xa0;rotation, night shift</li><li>Accommodations and<strong>&#xa0;flights&#xa0;</strong>provided</li><li><strong>Safety</strong>&#xa0;is Number 1: we watch out for one another and pride ourselves in doing the work right the first time</li><li>Work with an excellent&#xa0;<strong>team&#xa0;</strong>completing the majority of repairs in house, allowing for continuous growth and&#xa0;<strong>skill development</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Preventative maintenance on Stationary Diesel Engines, Hydraulic Systems, Trailer Units, Dredges, Barges &amp; Marine equipment</li><li>Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems and pumps</li><li>Troubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective parts</li><li>Interpret work orders</li><li>Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled</li><li>Ensure all health, safety and environment practices and paperwork are complete for all day to day activities</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal required</li><li>CSO (Common Safety Orientation) required</li><li>Experience in hydraulic, electrical, dredge and pump systems an asset</li><li>Oil &amp; Gas experience an asset</li><li>Valid Class 5 license with less than 5 demerits</li><li>Weight handling of up to 50 lbs</li><li>Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely</li><li>You’re meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobs</li><li>Your knowledge John Deere, Cummins and CAT engines would set you up for success</li><li>You’re flexible - willing to work an on-call schedule as needed and adapt to changing work environments</li><li>Computers are your friend, not your enemy</li><li>Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems and the ability to provide your own tools would be assets.</li></ul>",
