Our wide experience in meeting industrial plant maintenance needs enables us to implement systems and processes that keep your facilities and equipment running at consistently optimum levels.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:</strong>   Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer)</p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:  </strong>MOR PPM, Inc., seeks a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the Project Management team in a variety of assignments. The Engineer Intern will assist the Project Management Team in meeting the Company’s objectives and goals, which includes ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within a budget and per contract specifications. </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with the execution and management of special projects.</li>\n <li>Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.</li>\n <li>Comply with all company operating policies, procedures and safety programs as established.</li>\n <li>Other duties may be assigned as specific project dictates.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience/Education: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Qualifications & Skills: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required</li>\n <li>Must be enrolled in a Engineering program from a University or Technical School.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and adapt to overcome obstacles in the field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#PPM</strong></p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
