TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs a variety of dietary functions related to daily meal service in the hospital. </li>\n <li>Performs general sanitation duties throughout department in all areas. </li>\n <li>Works in dish room including operating machine, cleaning machine and cleaning dish room floors, walls, and equipment. </li>\n <li>Cleans floors by mopping, scrubbing and operating floor machine. </li>\n <li>Removes, trash, recyclables from kitchen. </li>\n <li>Transports food to areas via truck or cart. </li>\n <li>Delivers patient carts to floors. </li>\n <li>Performs special cleaning assignments of all surfaces structural and equipment in the kitchen. </li>\n <li>Puts away stock and cleans food storage areas. </li>\n <li>Washes pots and pans in the pot sink area and stores pots and utensils in a clean and protected way. </li>\n <li>Follows food safety rules. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned by manager which may include working similar positions like tray line server or cafeteria server. </li>\n <li>Includes some driving duties associated with this position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Food Service Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School graduate or GED certificate preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-year experience related to janitorial, supply stocking, general utility work, warehouse, or customer service in a retail setting, food service, hospitality or healthcare.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required (no more than 6 points) and must be maintained for the purpose of transporting food items between TMH locations. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
