We invite you to be part of our innovative team!</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Are you interested in working with an organization that is transforming the way America cares for and educates its children?</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Behavior Coach is primarily involved in the behavioral management of children experiencing crisis situations and oversight of the Multisensory De-escalation Room. The Behavior Coach is required to respond quickly and skillfully, in a therapeutic manner, to a variety of crises (both individual and group), which may require the use of therapeutic holding techniques. The Behavior Coach is expected to facilitate crisis resolution in a manner, which promotes the learning of self-control and reinforces constructive problem solving. In addition, the Behavior Coach will be engaged in crisis prevention, which will involve training, data analysis, primary intervention, assessing volatile situations, and anticipating interventions necessary to defuse the situation.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Complete a daily check of therapeutic behavioral aide (TBA) logs.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Supervise the use of multi-sensory de-escalation rooms (MSDRs) and provide coaching of proper therapeutic use.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Sanitize MSDRs rooms daily and sanitize mats after each use.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Complete observations of TBAs and provide coaching on the implementation of students behavior intervention plans.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Assist with the staffing of TBAs to ensure each student requiring a dedicated aide has a staff member assigned.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Review intervention reports for proper completion and assist staff members in completing the form.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Participate in case consult and team primacy meetings to address student behavior.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Provide and participate in professional development on Wednesdays.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Successfully complete the required crisis management program.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Assume other duties as assigned.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
