In the role you be managing the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop, while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained.</p>\n<p>#shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #LI-Onsite</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements</li>\n <li>Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping</li>\n <li>Maintain a trusting relationship with work group, manage and develop shift staff</li>\n <li>Commit to plant safety procedures</li>\n <li>Address employees’ issues and work with Shop Manager to address</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor, managing production employees</li>\n <li>Adequate knowledge of business and management principles </li>\n <li>Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise</li>\n <li>Be knowledgeable of safety and quality</li>\n <li>Ability to create accountability and to lead by example</li>\n <li>Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Able to adapt to constant changing schedule</li>\n <li>Ability to always remain flexible</li>\n <li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
