    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Civil Engineer, Water</strong></p>\n<p>(Hybrid)</p>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>\n<p>Michael Baker International is actively seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Arizona. We provide a flexible work environment with a balanced mix of office, home, and field work.&nbsp;You’ll be a part of our team of talented engineers working on a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects that include planning, design, engineering and construction support.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Planning studies, analyses and preliminary engineering efforts</li>\n <li>Develop engineering reports and technical memoranda. Perform hydraulic modeling</li>\n <li>Prepare design calculations, engineering drawings, and technical specifications</li>\n <li>Research products and materials and conduct technical evaluations</li>\n <li>Preparation of quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, etc.</li>\n <li>Participate in field visits and investigations</li>\n <li>Participate in client meetings, meeting preparation and presentations</li>\n <li>Support construction efforts by reviewing shop drawings for conformance to contract documents</li>\n <li>Partner with management and supervision of contractors and subconsultants during all project phases</li>\n <li>Assist with technical proposals during the pursuit of key project</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (cost estimators, GIS, designers, surveyors, and other engineers)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or related engineering field</li>\n <li>8+ years of increasingly responsible, professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities such as water distribution/transmission and gravity sewer pipelines, force mains, and pump stations</li>\n <li>Arizona P.E. license&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Self-starter interested in working on a variety of projects supporting the Water Group</li>\n <li>Excellent technical writing and communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrate proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel and PowerPoint are required</li>\n <li>Knowledge using AutoCAD, MicroStation and GIS is highly desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $145,000 annually.
