    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>As an Environmental Health and Safety Representative the responsibilities include continued implementation of safety management system to ensure workplace safety is attained to the highest standard. &nbsp;Additionally, the development, implementation, and oversight of environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs.</p><p>This position reports to the EHS Manager and is located in the Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Safety Management System- implementation of new programs, refine programs, and ensure utilization of programs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Environmental &amp; Safety Compliance- conduct audits, record retention, and development of policies/procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Training sessions- Environmental and Safety&nbsp; (to include but not limited to Title V, Personal Protective Equipment, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, etc…)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Participation in Value Stream Safety Teams (safety lead for specific departments)- actions include ergonomic assessments, inspections, and consultant role for team.</li><li>Assist EH&amp;S Manager on regulatory reports, incident investigations, proactive safety measures, and site safety plan development.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in resolution of safety concerns with Value Stream safety teams. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Safety with a minimum of 1-year experience in EHS or a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general industry safety practice including experience stated in job functions.</li><li>Experience from a construction or manufacturing background preferred.</li><li>Knowledge in OSHA and Regulatory Compliance including air, water, waste, preferred.</li><li>You must have the ability to positively influence the company safety culture.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>30% of time spent in an office environment, 70% on shop floor.</li><li>Must be available to travel up to 10%.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive total rewards package including benefits and 401(k) beginning day one of employment</li><li>Continuing education and training opportunities, tuition reimbursement for those who qualify</li><li>Vacation and Holiday pay</li><li>Paid Parental Leave</li><li>And Much More!</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
