This role is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality and reliability standards through inspections, measurements, and testing. The ideal candidate has experience reading mechanical drawings, using precision measurement tools, and working within quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p><strong>Pay & Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Hourly rate:</strong> $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k)</li>\n <li>Health insurance reimbursement</li>\n <li>Dental and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to determine quality requirements.</li>\n <li>Perform in-process and final inspections of rubber products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).</li>\n <li>Collaborate with management and engineering teams to address quality concerns and support inspection criteria development.</li>\n <li>Compile and evaluate inspection and statistical data to monitor product quality and consistency.</li>\n <li>Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Validate data and flag deviations from quality standards through reports and quality documentation.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate inspection and testing records.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company quality standards, industry requirements, and safety regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or quality-related certifications preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role (rubber or similar industry preferred).</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.</li>\n <li>Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office and quality management systems is a plus.</li>\n <li>Excellent attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Manual dexterity to operate inspection and measurement tools.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and rubber materials.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Website</h2>\n<p>https://www.mechanicalrubber.com/</p>\n<h2>Company Profile</h2>\n<p>Mechanical Rubber is a leading custom rubber manufacturer located in Warwick, NY, specializing in providing high-quality rubber products for a wide range of industries.
