Functions as a member of the client&rsquo;s treatment team as outlined in the policy and procedures manual.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implements effectively cottage activities of daily living to include wake up and bedtime routine, mealtime, maintains a clean, inviting, safe and orderly environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains clients&rsquo; personal hygiene, cleanliness, grooming, clothing and adheres to infection control procedures and practices universal precautions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effectively and appropriately sets limits with clients that are appropriate to the situation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Escorts clients safely to activities or appointments on or off campus as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adheres to established guidelines for observing clients on special precautions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coaches&rsquo; recreational activities to role model and encourage client participation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Models appropriate and professional behavior (i.e., dress, habits, personality, tact, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Consistently follows proper guidelines and procedures for intervening with physically aggressive clients.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Fill in online in crisis situations to ensure safety</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that documentation in client&rsquo;s file, group log and weekly summaries is accurate and completed in the prescribed time.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Relates with clients, parents, peers and the public in a respectful and professional manner.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Keeps a record of community service hours completed by each client.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures that client needs and services are provided within departmental guidelines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrates knowledge of the disaster and safety plans.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures that all medications administered are accurate, given in the prescribed time, and documented appropriately.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Staff members demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the client and implement awareness and understanding in the client&rsquo;s treatment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Relates with clients, parents, peers and the public in a respectful and professional manner in person and phone interaction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties that may be assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The employee will be required to talk, hear and see; be able successfully complete Crisis Prevention training which requires physical components, including bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting, to ensure the safety of clients and staff; stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p><strong>Medical Benefits, 401K Benefits and PTO</strong></p>\n",
