Position Summary / Objective The General Manager (GM) is the senior leader responsible for the full P&L performance, operational execution, and strategic growth of their regional operation. The GM is responsible for fostering a high performance culture, leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, and Production to deliver best-in-class live event experiences while maintaining financial discipline and operational scalability. This individual also serves as a senior executive representative to key customers, venues, partners, and vendors within the region. This is a high-ownership, high-accountability leadership role suited for a commercially minded operator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-intensive production environment. Role Responsibilities The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive. The individual in this position will perform additional tasks as assigned, adhere to all provisions of the Employee Manual, and participate in company initiatives and projects. Strategic Leadership & Operations Provide leadership to the Sales, Production, and Operations departments ensuring cohesion and alignment with company goals and strategic plan Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives Lead hiring, retention, and employee engagement in partnership with human resources Champion safety, compliance, and training initiatives in accordance with LEP corporate policies and industry standards Financial Performance & Sales Oversight Drive operational and financial performance by managing revenue targets, cost controls, and forecasting Maintain visibility into the full sales funnel, ensuring pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and conversion discipline Drive accountability around deposit collection, payment milestones, and clean contract execution Assist in annual planning and quarterly performance reviews, capex forecasting, and departmental development External Relations & Brand Management Represent the brand as a senior point of contact for key client relationships, vendor negotiations, and community partnerships Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. Physical Demands The person in this role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and must move about occasionally between the office and warehouse. The person in this role may need to climb stairs, travel and have the ability to move about both indoor and outdoor venues. This person in this role must be able to lift 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work The typical work schedule for this position follows a standard workday, with occasional flexibility for evening and weekend work during high-volume periods. All breaks and lunches will comply with local, state, and federal laws, and overtime, if required, will be compensated in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. Travel This position requires travel, up to 20% of the time. Travel will be mixed, local and outside the local area and overnight. Qualifications Required A minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college or commensurate experience. 10+ years in live events production, AV, entertainment services, or similar field. Proven experience managing large-scale productions with an emphasis on lighting, sound, video, and rigging. Strong knowledge of technical production equipment and industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong financial acumen with operational credibility. Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Google Workspace, Flex Rental Solutions, HubSpot, and Monday.com are preferred.
