In this role, you will support the project controls team responsible for cost control, forecasting, change management, scheduling, reporting, and earned value management for various data center construction projects.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the Project Controls scope of multiple new Data Center construction sites</li>\n <li>Assist in leading action-oriented weekly and monthly meetings with team members</li>\n <li>Maintain open communication across projects</li>\n <li>Understand and communicate client needs to relevant teams</li>\n <li>Maintain a commitment to organized and accurate documentation</li>\n <li>Collaborate with key stakeholders by gaining feedback from clients, attending meetings, and submitting update reports</li>\n <li>Assist in streamlining and communicating project controls processes</li>\n <li>Contribute to developing innovative process improvements</li>\n <li>Support training of management staff on project control procedures</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with project control requirements</li>\n <li>Support, assist, and collaborate with team members</li>\n <li>Assist in making data-driven insights regarding Project Controls performance by collecting and analyzing relevant statistics</li>\n <li>Prepare and support presentations/reports to update upper management on Project Control activities</li>\n <li>Support evaluation and incorporation of lessons learned from all sites to help enhance current and future Data Center Construction success</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2–5 years of Construction Project Controls experience on large commercial projects</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc., paired with industry experience OR an appropriate combination of certification(s), experience, and education</li>\n <li>Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization, and leadership skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with customers, GCs, owners, and office personnel</li>\n <li>Ability to budget time appropriately</li>\n <li>Willingness to proactively request support or deadline adjustment when completing tasks</li>\n <li>Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure</li>\n <li>Knowledge of AIA billings and forms</li>\n <li>Strong math skills</li>\n <li>Exposure to or experience with Primavera P6</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly</li>\n <li>Effective prioritization and coordination to accomplish tasks on time</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mission Critical Project experience</li>\n <li>Working toward or interest in Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Scheduling Professional (SP)</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Suite, COINs, Primavera P6, and ConEst</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical and Dental (100% of the premium covered by Miller Electric)</li>\n <li>401k retirement with company matching</li>\n <li>Vision plans</li>\n <li>Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts</li>\n <li>Travel Accident Insurance</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation & Holidays</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>College Coach Services</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#Miller</p>\n<p>#LI-KK1</p>\n<p>#Onsite</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
