The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects or large, multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of major contracts and programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who demonstrates strong leadership, business acumen, and technical expertise in roadway design and project execution.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and oversee multiple roadway projects or large, complex assignments. </li>\n <li>Serve as the primary client contact for major contracts and key accounts. </li>\n <li>Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and quality control processes across multiple teams. </li>\n <li>Develop and implement project management best practices within the Road Group. </li>\n <li>Mentor and coach Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers. </li>\n <li>Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing, interviews, and client presentations. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Group Leaders and executives on strategic pursuits and workload planning. </li>\n <li>Monitor financial performance and profitability across assigned projects. </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and other applicable standards. </li>\n <li>Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies. </li>\n <li>Participate in staff performance reviews and contribute to team development. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. </li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required. </li>\n <li>12–18 years of progressive experience in roadway and transportation project management. </li>\n <li>Proven record managing large DOT or municipal transportation projects. </li>\n <li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. </li>\n <li>Experience managing multi-office, multi-discipline project teams. </li>\n <li>Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in writing. </li>\n <li>Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching as required. </li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 10–15 pounds. </li>\n <li>Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.</li>\n</ul>",
