About Us
Broadsign is a growing software company with a mission to make buying, selling, and delivering out-of-home media easier than ever. Our software is operated by some of the most successful out-of-home businesses and powers impactful, compelling campaigns seen across the world.
About the Role
As a Data Analyst at Broadsign, you will join our Data Science & Analytics team to solve real-world problems and generate significant business impact. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our data-driven product portfolio, working closely with commercial and engineering teams to ensure our clients succeed in the rapidly growing Digital Out of Home (OOH) media channel.
What to Expect
Data Operations & Product Performance: You will support daily and monthly data operations while helping to build monitoring and QA processes. This includes learning the methodologies behind our data products and ensuring high performance through detailed reporting.
Commercial Support & Problem Solving: Working with commercial team members, you will diagnose and address client-facing data issues. You will be a key collaborator for engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to drive data-driven decision-making.
Innovation & Independent Analysis: You will take ownership of independent coding and analysis projects to explore new methodologies. We expect you to contribute creative ideas for new innovations that will help shape our future product roadmap.
What you need to perform in this job
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with SQL and business intelligence tools like Looker or Tableau. You should be comfortable coding in Python and have experience with Snowflake and AWS platforms. Experience with software engineering best practices (CI/CD) and GIS data and systems is a plus, as is experience with web languages/standards.
Analytical Mindset: Formal training in data science, including statistical analysis, visualization, and machine learning. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are critical for this role, as you will be asked to tackle problems that have not been encountered before.
Soft Skills: A natural curiosity to learn how things work and quickly embrace new technologies and tools. You must be able to communicate clearly on technical matters and be able to work effectively within a team while taking independent ownership of your tasks.
What we bring to the table
Comprehensive Benefits: Complete company insurance plan (health, dental, vision, travel) effective from day one, 100% employer-paid. This includes a $500 annual Health Care Savings Account (HCSA) and unlimited access to the Telus Health virtual platform.
