Overview High Acuity OB Hospitalist Practice within Beautiful Pacific Northwest Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist (OBGYN Hospitalist) to join a high-acuity, high-autonomy practice in Spokane, WA. This is a dynamic environment ideal for physicians who thrive in independent decision-making roles and enjoy managing complex obstetric care. High-Acuity Care Work within MuliCare Deaconess Hospital , which services 1800 deliveries annually , with a l evel III NICU for advanced care. Pediatrix OB Hospitalist team manages about 20% of total deliveries Fully inpatient role, with consistent exposure to complex, high-risk obstetric cases High-volume transport-in center serving Spokane and surrounding communities, with exposure to advanced pathology and antepartum admissions True Autonomy in Developing a Diverse Skillset Function as an independent provider, with duties including OB ED management, labor management and emergencies in addition to assisting providers as needed. 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage Management of unassigned and high-risk patients including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) patients Ideal for experienced physicians, confident in independent clinical decision making Established, Supportive Practice Structure 5 physician hospitalist team: Open to part-time or full-time seeking candidates Collaborative culture with strong subspecialty support Close partnership with Rockwood OBGYN and community health organizations with high-risk needs Spokane: An Oasis in the Pacific Northwest Spokane offers a unique balance of lifestyle and accessibility—appealing to those who enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing the conveniences of a mid-sized city.
