    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Job Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>The job holder will be responsible for </span><span>leading</span><span> and </span><span>managing</span><span> a team of backend engineers, both onsite and remote, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> </span><span>Drive the migration of </span><span>VUZ</span><span> existing monolithic application to a microservices-based architecture, identify opportunities for increased efficiency and modularity.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Node.js and Java to make informed technical decisions and provide hands-on technical guidance to the team.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Champion best practices in software development, code reviews, and architectural design to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers, to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Take ownership of application monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Utilize your expertise in Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB to design and implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Demonstrate a strong understanding of AWS services, particularly EKS, S3, and other relevant services, to architect and deploy applications in the cloud environment.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Promote a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and career growth within the team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and ensure our backend solutions remain cutting-edge.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Requirements:<br><br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> </span><span>Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with Node.js and Java for developing scalable backend solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Proven experience in leading and managing a team of software engineers, with a focus on backend development.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and Java, along with a solid understanding of microservices architecture.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Previous experience in migrating monolithic applications to microservices is a strong plus.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Deep knowledge of application monitoring and performance optimization techniques.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Proficiency in working with Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB, including data modeling and query optimization.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Strong familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly EKS and S3.</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.</span></li>\n</ul>",
