    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing and upgrading our High-Speed automated equipment (mechanical, electrical and electronic systems) and related equipment that will be utilized in our Tucson Rain Bird facility. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition to troubleshooting, the technician will design and service control systems ranging from electromechanical devices and systems to high-speed robotics and PLCs. These types of systems include robotic assembly devices, electronic sensors, vision systems, conveyors, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates and/or trains machine operators in the use of automated machines</li>\n <li>Identify and implement manufacturing process improvement opportunities for quality, delivery performance and throughput</li>\n <li>Manage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Ensure effective use of continuous improvement tools to prevent future or recurring failures of equipment, and injuries or incidents</li>\n <li>Participate actively in all 5S and Safety activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A.S. Degree in Electromechanical Technology</li>\n <li>5+ years of relevant professional experience</li>\n <li>Understanding of drawings and schematics (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic).</li>\n <li>Proficient in PLC troubleshooting/debugging </li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of industry Safety practices and OSHA guidelines</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reliability centered and condition-based maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Managing or leading a crew to achieve company or production goals</li>\n <li>Applied experience with Allen-Bradley PLC Control systems</li>\n <li>Familiar with CMMS such as MP2 or similar maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Rain Bird is an equal opportunity employer.</p>",
