Reports to: Head of Marketing Location: San Francisco or New York (Onsite 5 days a week) Campfire is building the future of enterprise finance, a modern accounting platform with the power of NetSuite and the ease of QuickBooks. Our reimagined general ledger automates revenue reporting, prepayments, and multi-entity consolidation. Our latest AI functionality, Ember AI, empowers finance teams to draft flux analysis, monthly reporting, and more. You'll join a small, high-impact team that moves fast, thinks creatively, and cares deeply about doing great work. We offer the freedom to experiment, the support to grow, and the chance to make a real impact on how businesses understand and manage their financial data. About the Role Campfire is looking for a PMM to own and scale our content engine for product education. You'll be responsible for telling the story of our product in creative, engaging ways that educate buyers, shorten sales cycles, and reinforce our core market perceptions. This is a highly creative role for someone who thinks beyond traditional B2B content formats. What You'll Do Own our product content strategy and calendar: Publish 4-5 high-quality pieces per month across multiple formats Build a library of core assets that reduce average sales cycle length Create compelling content across diverse formats: Product education and announcements that make complex functionality accessible and drive adoption Customer stories and case studies that build social proof and demonstrate real results Deep-dive how-to guides, webinars, video tutorials, and interactive templates that help buyers understand our value Strategic assets like ebooks, white papers, comparison guides, and frameworks that support the sales process Drive strategic messaging initiatives: Publish 3-6 strategic content pieces, frameworks, or lead magnets per quarter that reinforce our three core market perceptions Develop verticalized and industry-specific messaging as we scale (SaaS/AI, Healthcare, Fintech; Mid-Market, Enterprise) Collaborate with the Senior PMM on sales enablement materials that help close deals faster Experiment and optimize: Test new content formats and distribution channels Use data and buyer feedback to refine messaging and content strategy Double down on what resonates, iterate on what doesn't Who You Are Must-haves: Creative storyteller who can make technical product features compelling and accessible Strong writer with the ability to adapt tone and format to different audiences and content types Strategic thinker who can connect content to business outcomes (shorter sales cycles, higher conversion rates) Self-starter who's comfortable owning a content calendar end-to-end. From ideation to publishing Data-informed with instincts for what will resonate with finance and accounting audiences Nice-to-haves: Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software Background creating content for technical or complex products (ERP, accounting, finance tools) Comfortable on video for product demos, tutorials, or educational content Experience with content-led growth or product-led growth strategies Familiarity with verticalized messaging for different industries or company sizes Experience with Notion Success Metrics You'll be measured on: Growing our content resource hub and maintaining a consistent publishing calendar of high-quality pieces that reinforce our core market perceptions Publishing customer stories that demonstrate real results Long term measurable reduction in average sales cycle length
