Job Summary
The Manager - BPM will be responsible for managing and optimizing the MIS operations within our organization, with a strong focus on leveraging Power BI, VBA, and Python to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making. This role involves overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain MIS frameworks and systems to support organizational data needs and objectives.
Oversee the development of databases, software applications, and other technological solutions necessary for effective MIS.
Ensure that MIS systems are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
Develop and manage interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to provide actionable insights.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboard designs alongside Continuously improve and optimize dashboards to enhance usability and relevance.
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
Utilize relevant tools and techniques for data analysis, such as statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.
Present findings and insights to various stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of MIS data and establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data quality.
Regularly audit data sources and processes to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of MIS processes, procedures, and systems for reference and compliance purposes.
Ensure that MIS activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Keep abreast of changes in regulations and standards related to data management and reporting, and ensure compliance accordingly.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, operations, and senior management, to understand their information needs and priorities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates on MIS initiatives, and solicit feedback.
Provide training and support to users of MIS systems to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the systems.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in MIS and related fields, and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification & Certification
Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Advanced knowledge of VBA for automating Excel tasks and processes.
Preferably programming skills in Python for data analysis and automation.
Data Management: Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and database systems.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Certification: Relevant certifications in Power BI, Python, or data analysis are a plus.
Working Experience
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in managing MIS systems, data analysis, and reporting. Proven track record of using Power BI, VBA, and Python to drive process improvements and support data-driven decision-making. Should be self-driven.
