The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented team player with the ability to work flexible hours, travel as required, and adapt to both field and laboratory environments.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Primary Duties</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Marine site visits to conduct sea lice counts and disease surveillance sampling</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Hatchery visits to collect samples for disease surveillance, vaccine side-effects scoring, and broodstock sampling</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Laboratory duties such as laboratory sample preparation, organization, and shipping</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Recording, organizing, and entering fish health data with a high degree of accuracy</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Supporting field investigations and fish health assessments as required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Maintaining equipment, supplies, and documentation related to fish health operations</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Qualifications / Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Secondary education diploma required; post-secondary training in aquaculture, biology, or a related field considered an asset</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Aquaculture Technician Certificate or Diploma preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Experience in fish farming, fish health, or laboratory work considered an asset</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and travelling between sites</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Must be willing to work flexible or irregular hours, including occasional overnight travel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license required</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Compensation is based on experience and education, complemented by a competitive health and dental benefits package.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">The role description is just one part of the story.
