Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p></p><p><span><span>The Director of HIV Services</span><span> leads the HIV Services </span><span>division in </span><span>managing and supporting the assessment and program delivery based on the </span><span>patient</span></span><u><span><span>’</span></span></u><span><span>s</span><span> needs. </span><span>The </span><span>Director</span><span> of HIV S</span><span>ervices</span><span> is responsible for the </span><span>o</span><span>verall administration of more than 25 grants </span><span>within LA and Orange Counties, </span><span>as well as meeting contractual requirements aligned with AltaMed’s mission, vision, core values, and strategic plan.</span><span> </span><span>The Director</span><span> of HIV Services</span><span> </span><span>develop</span><span>s</span><span>, </span><span>monitor</span><span>s</span><span>, and implement</span><span>s</span><span> the Quality Improvement program responsible </span><span>for </span><span>core service functions under the direction of the </span><span>A</span><span>VP, </span><span>Regional Clinic</span><span> Administration,</span><span> and in collaboration with the Medical Director of HIV Services</span><span>. </span><span>T</span><span>h</span><span>is role</span><span> </span><span>w</span><span>orks cohesively with Clinic Operations to ensure smooth administration of HIV Services delivery and interdepartmental referrals. </span><span>In addition, </span><span>the Director </span><span>of HIV Services </span><span>is </span><span>r</span><span>esponsible for</span><span> clinic operations in HIV and Infectious Disease specialty clinics, directly overseeing</span><span> the front office, </span><span>HIV service clinic operations, and prevention programs. Other core functions include</span><span> providing</span><span> mental health services, home care services, and case management</span><span>. </span><span>Fu</span><span>r</span><span>thermore, t</span><span>he Director </span><span>manag</span><span>es</span><span> and provid</span><span>es</span><span> overall leadership, direction</span><span>,</span><span> and development for HIV/AIDS prevention programming &amp; HIV-related health services, responsible for direct planning in the day-to-day operations of each function,</span><span> as well as </span><span>collaborat</span><span>es </span><span>with the communications department on HIV Services’ marketing and social media strategy</span><span>.  </span><span>Lastly, </span><span>the Director</span><span> of HIV Services</span><span> </span><span>design</span><span>s</span><span> and develop</span><span>s</span><span> </span><span>new programs</span><span> and </span><span>advocat</span><span>es</span><span> </span><span>for legislative changes for those with HIV, as well as develops, </span><span>maintains,</span><span> and expands collaborative efforts with multiple community agencies that provide these services</span><span>; </span><span>support</span><span>s</span><span> </span><span>pharmacy </span><span>integration within AltaMed</span><span> and </span><span>o</span><span>vers</span><span>ees</span><span> managed care</span><span>,</span><span> grant </span><span>budgeting, and implementation</span><span>.  </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><div><div><p><b><span>Minimum</span><span> Requirements</span></b><span> </span></p></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university program in social work (MSW, LCSW), public </span><span>health, Health Administration, N</span><span>ursing</span><span> (RN)</span><span>, or other related health or social science field</span><span> </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Minimum of </span><span>10</span><span> years of public health experience </span><span>required,</span><span> with 8 years </span><span>in</span><span> managerial and/or supervisory experience in a health or social services setting, half of which are </span><span>in the area of</span><span> health promotion and education</span><span> </span><span>services.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Must have working experience with government and private sector entities and prior experience managing grants and<span> </span>contracts.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div></div><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$144,245.56 - $180,306.95 annually<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
