    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.9.7/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.9.7/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Summary of Position&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The Quality Manager position at Century Arms has the primary objective of establishing and maintaining high level quality standards, optimize production processes, and minimize defects or error in the manufacturing and assembly process as they relate to the Production Department. This role reports directly to the COO and work closely with the Director of Operations, the New Product Development Manager and the Director of Purchasing. Routine responsibilities will consist of monitoring and auditing of processes, materials, supplier quality management and product testing against established standards with continuous analysis of quality defects and/or deviations.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Provides QA support to product development and manufacturing team, resolving problems, defects, and other issues, ensuring the product meets specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports, designs, develops and enhances test processes and reporting for QA</li><li>Generate and maintains quality reports for management, highlighting KPIs and areas for improvement</li><li>Establishing quality performance metrics to prevent issues preemptively</li><li>Manages all testing efforts across projects and tasks&nbsp;</li><li>Capability to perform SPC and Gauge R&amp;R studies Mentors and provides training assistance to QA Personnel</li><li>Develop and maintain standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation</li><li>Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards</li><li>Investigate product quality problems and determine root cause, gather and analyze data, and implement corrective actions to reduce or eliminate cause</li><li>Perform process capability studies or special studies necessary to increase control and decrease total quality costs</li><li>Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality&nbsp;</li><li>Plan and oversee the analysis, inspection, design and test of products to assure the quality of the parts and products</li><li>Perform quality engineering review of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and Company quality records</li><li>Able to perform manual inspection layouts</li><li>Utilizes test equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Rockwell Testers, Surface Plate, Vision, Optical Comparator and CMM</li><li>Proficiently generate programs for CMM inspections&nbsp;</li><li>Clear understanding of GD&amp;T&nbsp;</li><li>Assist Century Arms with maintaining ISO 9001 compliance</li><li>Lead Century Arms Corrective Action Program</li><li><strong><em>Other duties will be assigned as required.</em></strong></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;<u>Qualifications &amp;&nbsp;</u><u>Knowledge&nbsp;</u></strong><u><strong>Required</strong></u></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;These requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ul><li>BS Degree in Engineering or related field required</li><li>8 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Excellent technical background with a track-record of problem solving and process development</li><li>Experience in firearm production, tooling and machining highly preferred</li><li>General knowledge of CAD and CMM software packages</li><li>Experience with Solid Works</li><li>Certification in quality management is a plus</li><li>Formal GD&amp;T training is preferred&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
