    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the TierPoint’s fixed assets. Compiles financial information, processes journal entries, reconciles accounts, prepares reports and analyzes financial data. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values</li>\n <li>Review, analyze and process all capital asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation</li>\n <li>Prepare journal entries in accordance with Company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations</li>\n <li>Perform and document internal controls</li>\n <li>Compile and analyze financial information with a high level of accuracy</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly reporting to senior management team</li>\n <li>Prepare supporting schedules for external audit</li>\n <li>Assist with annual budget process</li>\n <li>Develop process improvements to gain efficiencies</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor</li>\n <li>Assist with audit</li>\n <li>Capital reporting requests</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting</li>\n <li>One year of strong general accounting experience including fixed assets</li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills. Interaction proficiency with peers, clients and management</li>\n <li>Positive attitude and continuous improvement mentality</li>\n <li>Keen problem solving and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize assignments according to timelines and importance of tasks</li>\n <li>Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously</li>\n <li>Ability to work both independently and with others</li>\n <li>Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications with advanced knowledge of Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Experience </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience with fixed assets</li>\n <li>Prior experience with Workday</li>\n <li>Prior experience in the data center industry</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Working Conditions </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Office/Hybrid environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Transparency</strong>TierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency.
