Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide acquisition solutions for SYD 810 leadership on acquisition approaches, architecture analysis, and development of environmental monitoring (EM) and or TacSRT programs.</li>\n <li>Assist the Government with all aspects of SYD 810 acquisition portfolio financial and program management.</li>\n <li>Develop industry engagements and creative acquisition approaches that prioritize rapidly leveraging commercial solutions </li>\n <li>Applying critical thinking and analysis to develop, brief, integrate, correlate, and review various phases of Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) as it pertains to the SYD 810 portfolio.</li>\n <li>Operating as an individual contributor and collaborating with a team of high-performing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), systems engineers, data scientists and software developers that directly support the Government through lifecycle systems engineering and management processes to deliver critical space capabilities.</li>\n <li>Frequently interacting and developing productive relationships with program managers, financial managers, SETAs, FFRDCs, program office support and external stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Supporting risk management processes and methods for identifying, assessing, and adjudicating program risk; Conduct analysis to identify program risk areas and recommend/implement mitigation approaches and lead tasks to closure.</li>\n <li>Organizing and lead efforts across multiple simultaneous studies and/or tasked efforts.</li>\n <li>Developing documents and briefings to communicate work status, briefs to government frequently.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in related field with 10+ years of professional experience or master's degree in a related field with 8+ years of professional experience.</li>\n <li>Significant background in space acquisition, PPBE processes, operations, and/or satellite space and ground architectures.</li>\n <li>Experience with conducting market research, coordinating industry engagements, and Small Business Innovation Research contracts </li>\n <li>Able to work independently and thrive and work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment.</li>\n <li>Strong organization and communication skills, verbal and written.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to work within integrated Government, FFRDC, and SETA teams.</li>\n <li>Ability for occasional travel.</li>\n <li>US Citizenship required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Desired:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Top Secret/SCI Government security clearance.</li>\n <li>Five (5) or more years of USSF, USAF, IC acquisition or operational experience.</li>\n <li>Space domain experience and understanding in Space Sensing programs (e.g. EM, TacSRT)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated strong technical leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills.</li>\n <li>High level of creativity, initiative systems thinking, and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance. Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances, due to the nature of the work.</p>",
