This five-story, state-of-the-art multi-specialty hospital spans 380,000 square feet, purpose-built to serve one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities with exceptional, outcomes-focused care.</p>\n<p><strong>Designed for Excellence</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opening with 102 beds, expandable to 300 beds at full build-out</li>\n <li>9 advanced operating rooms, including a hybrid OR with real-time imaging capabilities</li>\n <li>Comprehensive services in cardiology, neurology, oncology, surgery, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<p>From life-saving procedures to advanced diagnostics, this facility is engineered to meet the evolving needs of our community with precision and compassion.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong>Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to MRI safety principles.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong>• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or • intervention.• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care. • Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality. • Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives. • Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.• Performs proper patient identification, acquires patient’s clinical history, and assures that the information is accurately documented.• Positions patient, equipment, associated devices, and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation.• Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is • demonstrated.• Applies principles of MRI safety to patients, self, and others. • Comprehends and complies with Quality Control standards and participates in all Quality Control tasks. • Demonstrates proficiency in contrast medication administration with and without use of power injectors.• Performs venipuncture and evaluates IV access for the purpose of contrast administration as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.• Administers medical aid as required in cases of adverse reactions to contrast medication and/or other emergencies.• Applies appropriate standard precautions and personal protective equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases.• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists. • Utilizes all Corporate Radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.• Ensures safety of all customers.• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.• Performs all other duties as assigned.<strong>Other Related Functions</strong>• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. • Maintains well-stocked and organized work areas. • May be required to work at any facility. • Provides patient transport.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training</strong>• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology OR,• Graduate of accredited school of Sonography OR,• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine OR,• Graduate of an approved MRI technologist program through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)<strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>• Must have one (1) of the following:• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification OR,• Valid American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification OR,• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification (MRI) or Graduate of an approved MRI technologist program through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.• Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida (Preferred).<strong>Experience</strong>• Mandatory minimum of two (2) years MRI experience and experience in one or more of the following areas: • Advanced imaging experience and proficiency, including 3D Lab, IR procedural imaging, Breast imaging or Cardiac imaging.• Site proctor/preceptor for onboarding new hires and cross-training. • Primary responsibility: Dual imaging roles, with current proficiency and routinely performing in secondary modality</p>",
