Chart, date and sign after each entry. Record daily or as changes are necessary.</p><p>· Transcribe, analyze, comprehend and implement doctors’ orders accurately and notify appropriate personnel of changes.</p><p>· Complete dietary and maintenance forms accurately as required.</p><p>· Update daily flow sheets for C.N.A.’s so that all services rendered are in agreement with the Care plan. Report all issues as soon as noted or within a timely manner. Assume the command position until the fire department arrives.</p><p>· Maintain knowledge of safe operation of oxygen, IV’s, suction machines, catheters, etc. Use proper techniques when working with medical equipment.</p><p>· Practice universal precautions and ensure that C.N.A.’s always use universal precautions.</p><p>· Complete admissions, transfers, deaths and discharges.
