    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are looking for an experienced<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Systems Engineer </span>to join our small, highly skilled team in Gothenburg. You will be the go-to person for everything from signalling protocol expertise to infrastructure operations, working in direct and daily contact with our telecom operator customers. You will play a central role in keeping our iNode platform running reliably and evolving to meet customer needs. This is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hybrid role</span> based out of our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Gothenburg, Sweden</span> office, reporting to the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manager, Operations</span>.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Analyse customer needs and design new services in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and the technical team.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Implement, configure and test new platforms and services in live operator environments.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Troubleshoot complex issues across signalling, networking and infrastructure layers.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Configure and maintain Linux-based server infrastructure including networking, routing, firewalls and VPN tunnels.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Manage and operate network equipment: Cisco switches, routers and ASA firewalls.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Install and operate physical infrastructure: servers, cabling, fiber, power supplies and UPS.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Monitor systems using OP5/Nagios and manage backup/restore processes (Bacula).</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Participate in on-call duty rotation for 24/7 operational support.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Drive continuous optimisation of platform performance and reliability.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualification and Experience:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Deep knowledge of telecom signalling protocols: SIP, SS7, INAP, Diameter, ENUM.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Linux: Rocky Linux / RedHat — networking, routing, firewall configuration, security hardening and bash scripting.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• CLI configuration of VLANs and VPN tunnels.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers and ASA firewalls.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• MySQL / MariaDB: SQL query design and optimisation.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Physical infrastructure: installation and operation of servers, network equipment and cabling.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Strong troubleshooting skills in large, complex, mission-critical systems.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Comfortable working directly with customers under pressure.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Good to Have:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Apache / Tomcat, SSL configuration.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• OpenVPN, SMTP, SNMP/MIB.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• OP5 Monitor (Nagios), Bacula backup/restore.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Xen virtualisation.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">• Perl scripting.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Opportunity for growth and advancement  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Great team atmosphere  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Opportunity to leave your mark through the delivery of innovative ideas to the team  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work for a stable and established company </span><span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About Us:</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Enghouse Networks Sweden develops and operates IN and SIP/ENUM routing applications for telecom operators.
