Work location will be flexible within the assigned territory.</p><h1 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Purpose</span></h1><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As a Seed Coordinator for Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, and execution of seed operations across assigned regions. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure reliable seed supply, optimize seed logistics, and strengthen CVA&rsquo;s position as a trusted and efficient seed partner to growers. This role provides leadership to the regional Seed Administrator and plays a key role in aligning sales, operations, and administrative teams on seed strategy and execution.</p><h1 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></h1><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Strategic Leadership and Planning</span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops and executes regional strategies to ensure CVA remains a reliable supplier of the seed products customers want&mdash;balancing forecast accuracy, inventory positioning, and Partner supply dynamics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leads strategic seed asset management planning across assigned regions to maximize utilization and return on investment of seed-related assets (e.g., treaters, bulk tanks, tenders, seed boxes, warehouses, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates with the Seed Team and Operations to build and implement regional seed logistics strategies that ensure efficient inbound Partner shipments and timely outbound deliveries to customers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partners with RSMs, ROMs, and Seed Team to evaluate long-term infrastructure and capacity needs to support seed growth initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contributes to CVA&rsquo;s overall seed strategy by analyzing sales, inventory, and logistics data to provide recommendations, identifying process improvements, and aligning operational execution with sales growth goals.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Seed Inventory Oversight</span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strategically manages seed inventory within allowable guidelines and ensures that accurate orders (correct product, treatment, package type, etc.) are maintained in Evolve, SeedWare, CropEdge, etc., within appropriate timeframes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leads forecasting and replenishment planning to align inventory with demand trends, Partner allocations, and regional growth objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with assigned sales regions to assess and manage in-season floor stock of seed to maximize seed sales.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Seed Process Implementation, Oversight and Improvement</span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implements seed policies and procedures within assigned regions, including seed billing processes, transfers, PO&rsquo;s/BOL&rsquo;s, centralized ordering (Seed Admins), accounting software, seed order forms, LCR tracking, and seed programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proactively identifies and implements process innovations that enhance efficiency, reduce variance, and strengthen CVA&rsquo;s competitive position.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works closely with Seed Admins to ensure the centralized ordering process operates accurately and efficiently.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides support to accounting and locations in troubleshooting issues with seed billing, inventory discrepancies, GPOS, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops training and reference materials to support understanding of seed processes and procedures.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Seed Administration Oversight</span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides seed administration oversight and direct supervision of the regional Seed Administrator by working with sales locations, the AP Seed Specialist, and Seed Admins to ensure accurate and timely submission of LCR, replants, GPOS, customer complaints, and grower licenses.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Uses reporting and analytics to identify business trends, partner performance, and improvement opportunities; communicates strategic recommendations to the Seed Team and management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates, strategizes, and collaborates with other Seed Coordinators at Central Valley Ag.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with Seed Partners to stay abreast of sales metrics, inventory, programs, deadlines, and reports, and effectively communicates them to assigned areas and the Seed Team.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages seed-related deadlines within assigned regions and ensures Partner equipment contracts are current.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates with RSMs, ROMs, and the Director of Seed to determine CapEx needs for seed equipment and infrastructure.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Researches and maximizes seed equipment cost-share programs through Seed Partners.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates with Operations Managers and locations on execution of seed equipment and infrastructure projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with RSMs, ROMs, locations, and Seed Team to develop and execute a soybean bulk strategy.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides input to the Seed Team on sales and marketing tactics and grower programs.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Seed Treatment Processes</span></h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with the Director of Specialty Products and Operations Teams to ensure that seed treatment equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops forward-looking seed treatment capacity plans and process improvements to meet emerging customer needs and regional growth.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists location operations and sales in training on operation of seed treatment equipment and procedures.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Safety</span></h2><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates with the Safety and Operations Teams to ensure that seed equipment and seed-related activities meet safety requirements.</p><h1 style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Supervisor Responsibilities</span></h1><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Directly supervises the Seed Administrator assigned to the region. Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure accurate and efficient seed ordering, billing, and reporting processes.
